1Beschrijvingen:
Een superverwarmer is een apparaat dat wordt gebruikt om verzadigde stoom of natte stoom om te zetten in oververhitte stoom of droge stoom.en in processen zoals stoomreformingEr zijn drie soorten superverwarmers: stralings-, convectie- en afzonderlijk ontstoken.Een superverwarmer kan variëren in grootte van enkele tientallen meters tot enkele honderden meters (een paar meter tot enkele honderden meters).
De herverwarming en de superverwarming zijn een reeks buizen in de ketel.De stoom van de waterwanden gaat naar de superverwarmers, waar deze boven de verzadigingstemperatuur wordt verwarmd totdat de maximale vereiste bedrijfstemperatuur is bereikt.De oververhitte stoom stroomt vervolgens door de hoofdstoorleiding naar de hogedrukturbine.De uitlaatstoom van de hogedrukturbine wordt geleid naar de ketel voor herverwarming en van daaruit naar de tussen- en laagdrukturbinesHoge opwarmtemperaturen verbeteren de uitstoot en de efficiëntie van een energiecentrale.
Types superverwarmers:
Een stralingsoververwarmer wordt rechtstreeks in de verbrandingskamer geplaatst.
Een convectieverwarmer bevindt zich in het pad van de hete gassen.
Een apart aangestoken superverwarmer is, zoals de naam al aangeeft, volledig gescheiden van de ketel.
